A pool doesn't look after itself, and most weeks you'd rather not either. Here's exactly what a visit covers.

Common Questions

What does a weekly pool service visit include?

Water tested and balanced, walls and waterline brushed, the surface skimmed and baskets emptied, the filter checked and backwashed if it needs it, and the equipment pad given a visual check.

Why does dirt blow back into my pool after it's just been cleaned?

Usually it's the filter's multiport valve, set to backwash or waste when it should be set to filter, so debris that should be leaving the system gets pushed right back in. Worth checking before assuming the cleaning didn't work.

When should a pool be opened for the season, or closed for it?

It depends more on the weather than a date on the calendar: warm enough to swim comfortably on one end, cool enough that the pool won't be used again on the other. We can take a look and tell you where things stand.
